Their social nature has become enfeebled, and by neglecting their obligations to their fellow-townsmen, they find it impossible to respond to the claims of unknown men on the other side of the globe. | 彼らの社会的性質は弱められたものとなり、彼らの仲間の町の人への義務が無視されることによって、地球の反対側の知らない人々の求めに応答することは不可能であることを見いだす。 |

| The church shall be a home. | その教会は家庭になるであろう。 |
| Men cannot live by sermons alone, but by every word which proceeds not of the mouth of God. | 人々は説教のみで生きることはできない。神の口からではないことばによって生きるのである。 |
| One of God's choice words is fellowship, and unless a church offers fellowship it is doomed. | 神が選ばれたことばの一つは交わりである。そして教会は交わりの提供無しには滅びる。 |
| Worship without fellowship is contrary to nature. | 交わりのない礼拝は自然の理に反する。 |
| The worship in the New Testament is carried on by brothers. | 新約聖書の礼拝は兄弟によって行われる。 |
